All I have to say to the UF student or Gainesville resident is that you real what you sow and that hatred that you is disgusting and irrational. I’m sad to share the campus with you. “Let’s leave a petition about a racially charged subject sitting around for a few hours; what could possibly go wrong?” If you think the problem is us leaving the petition out for a couple hours so we could have a rally for Trayvon then I don’t know what to tell you,sir. It’s definitely our fault and not whoever did this.  The fault rests not on one person. The fault rests jointly on you for having absolutely no foresight and the perpetrator for lacking respect for the institution of the petition. Would it have been that hard to leave one person behind to make sure no assholes stole/desecrated the petition? Consider the following analogy: if somebody shot you, it would pretty much be their fault. If somebody is shooting at a wall for target practice in the street and you decide you’re going to run in front of them to spook them as they’re shooting and you get shot in the face because they weren’t anticipating you, the fault is joint: them for irresponsibly shooting in the street, and you for jumping in front of a loaded (and actively firing) gun. If somebody came up the the table, forced you out of the way, and stole/desecrated the petition, that would pretty much be just their fault. But if you leave the petition lying around like there’s some magic anti-idiot force-field around it, the fault lies jointly on your for being irresponsible. yo dude this might be an occasion to chill with the shooting analogies I imagine a freshman with a red sharpie standing over that petition, sweating bullets in his uncertainty of whether to draw a penis ejaculating all over the list or to write a racist slur. wow, you guys are actually taking the side of whatever fucking piece of trash asshole defaced the petition? while the creators of the petition were out attending a rally in support of the issue on the petition? stay classy, tumblr.
